EXCEPT THAT, the author paid the “Washington Post” a little over $100,000 to print the article as an advertisement. The Post accepted his money, printed the full page “ad”, then failed journalism 101 by failing to provide any follow-up background information on the author and his contributions to our American society. Few other papers bothered to even carry the story.

Here it is four to five years later and many major newspapers (including the K C Star) are headed toward the shitter because of decreasing readership. How come? Bad business plan. ACORN recruits don’t buy or read newspapers. Their knowledge base is provided by the well-funded mass media while, at the same time, intelligent readers are becoming increasingly disenchanted with the biased and selective editorialized reporting.

R.I.P to the many newspaper reporters, columnists, editors, and executives. They’ve failed the who, what, when, where, and why criteria for years. Hoping for change is no longer a viable option.
