I am really concerned about North Korea’s appointment of the “dear leader”, Kim Jung Ill’s youngest son to be the new leader of North Korea– a nuclear power!

After all, Kim Jung Un (pronounced Kim’s young-un?) had NO military experience whatsoever before daddy made him a four-star general in the military. This is a snot-nose twerp who has never accomplished anything in his life that would even come close to military leadership: he hasn’t even so much as led a cub scout troop, coached a sports team or commanded a military platoon… …So, setting that aside, next they make him the “beloved leader” of the country. Terrific!!!

Oh, crap! I’m sorry. I just remembered that we did the same thing here. We took a community organize, Obama, who has never worn a uniform and made him Commander-in-Chief; a guy, Obama, who has never led anything more than an ACORN demonstration and made him the leader of this country.

Do you get the pathetic picture!

Rick Perry

Who Is Rick Perry?

He is a fifth generation Texan, the son of hardscrabble West Texas tenant
farmers – Democrats, but conservatives through and through. He grew up in a farm
town too small to be on the state map. Life was so hard that he was six years
old before his house had indoor plumbing. His mother sewed his clothes,
including the underwear he wore to college.

He is an Eagle Scout. After Paint Creek High School , he attended Texas A&M,
graduated, and was commissioned into the Air Force where he became a C-130
pilot.

Now 61 years old, he has won nine elections to four different offices in Texas
state government. In the first three elections he ran as a Democrat then
switched to the Republican Party. He is currently the 47th governor of Texas – a
position he has held for 11 years, the longest tenure of any governor in the
nation.

He has never lost an election.

Rick Perry was the Lieutenant Governor to whom Governor George Bush handed over
the office after winning the 2000 Presidential election. Since then, Perry won
gubernatorial elections in 2002, 2004, and 2010, the last time by 55% against a
field consisting of a Democrat, a Libertarian, a Green Party, and an
Independent.

Since he became its Governor, Texas – a right to work state that taxes neither
personal income nor capital gains – has added more jobs than the other 49 states
combined. In the last two years, low taxes and little regulation led his state
to create 47% of all jobs created in the entire nation. Five of the top ten
cities with the highest job growth in the nation are in Texas . People follow
jobs, so in the last four years for which data are available, Texas led every
state in net interstate migration growth.

Perry signed ground-breaking “loser pays” tort reform and medical litigation
rules that caused malpractice insurance rates to fall. Some 20,000 doctors have
since moved to Texas .

Texas boasts 58 of the Fortune 500 companies – more than any other state. Since
May 2011 Texas resumed its pre-recession employment levels. Only two other
states and the District of Columbia have done that.

Texas ships 16% of the nation’s export value. California trails at 11%. Of the
70 companies that have fled California so far in 2011, 14 relocated in Texas .

In this year’s Texas legislative season, Perry got most of what he wanted. With
no new taxes, a fiscally lean state budget was passed leaving $6 billion in a
rainy day fund even as other states around the country struggled to balance
budgets and avoid more deficit borrowing. A voter ID bill passed that was
designed to prevent ballot box fraud and illegal voting. A bill passed that
makes plaintiffs pay court costs and attorney fees if their suits are deemed
frivolous.

Perry scored points even in his legislative failures. He failed to get sanctuary
cities banned – Texas towns in which police cannot question detainees about
their immigration status. The blame fell on the legislature. Perry also failed
to get a so-called “anti-groping” bill passed that would put Transportation
Security Administration agents in prison if they touch the genitals, anus, or
breasts of passengers in a pat down. Federal officials threatened to halt all
flights out of Texas airports and the bill died in special session. That
endeared Texans even more to TSA employees living in Texas .

Perry jogs daily in the morning. He has no bodyguard with him, but his
daughter’s dog runs by his side and he carries a laser-guided automatic pistol
in his belt. Last year while jogging in an undeveloped area, a coyote paralleled
his jogging route, eyeing his dog. He drew his pistol and killed the animal with
one shot, leaving it where it fell. “He became mulch,” Perry said. Animal rights
groups protested, but Perry shrugged it off. “Don’t come after my dog,” he
warned them.

Recently, Obama asked Perry to delay the July 7 execution of Humberto Leal in
order to comply with the International Court of Justice in The Hague and the
Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. Perry refused. Therefore Obama asked
the US Supreme Court to delay the execution because it would damage US foreign
relations. The Court refused 5-4 and Perry ordered the execution to go forward
as scheduled. Over the howls of diplomats, politicians, and the UN, Leal was
administered a lethal injection at 6:20 p.m. Before he died, he admitted his
guilt and asked for forgiveness.

The case has special implications for Perry, who is considering a run for the
presidency in 2012. Even his critics resent federal interference in a Texas
execution, which is related to a state, not a federal, crime – an alcohol and
drug-fueled rape and murder 17 years ago by an illegal whose family brought him
into the country 35 years ago as a child. The interference hinges not on the
man’s guilt, which Leal’s advocates acknowledged, but on a technicality –
failure to inform Leal that he could have gotten legal representation from the
Mexican consulate in lieu of the court-appointed attorneys who represented him.
Independent Texans saw Obama’s interference as another intrusion of federal
power into the affairs of a state, which could cost Obama support in other
states.

Needless to say, Perry is a hard-edged conservative and a ferocious defender of
10th Amendments rights (“The powers not delegated to the United States by the
Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States
respectively, or to the people.”) – an explicit restriction of the federal
government to only those powers granted in the Constitution. Perry accuses the
federal government, especially the Obama administration, of illegal overreach.

Perry said “no thanks” to the feds whose stimulus offered taxpayer dollars for
education and unemployment assistance. The strings on “free money” from
Washington , he said, would restrict Texas in managing its own affairs. Perry
even depleted all state funds to fight recent wildfires before asking Washington
for disaster relief. His request has been ignored, which comes across as an
unvarnished federal power play, further pitting Perry and Texans against the
federal government.

Dear Fellow Conservatives:

Many of you have contacted me about the bipartisan tax deal reached between President Obama and Republican leaders. I’ve carefully reviewed the legislation and I wanted to explain to you why I cannot support it.

First, I do not want to see anyone’s taxes go up and I have been fighting for years to permanently extend all the tax rates. I disagree with the President that we cannot afford to extend these rates for everyone. It’s the people’s money and we should not raise taxes on hardworking American families.

But this bill does much more than simply extend tax rates.

For starters, it includes approximately $200 billion in new deficit spending and stimulus gimmicks. That’s a lot of money that will have to be borrowed from China and repaid by our children and grandchildren. If we’re going to increase spending on new programs, we must reduce other spending to pay for it.

The bill also only extends rates for two years. We don’t have a temporary economy so we shouldn’t have temporary tax rates. Individuals and businesses make decisions looking at the long-term and we’re not going to create jobs without giving people certainty as to what their taxes will be in future.

The bill also fails to extend all of the tax rates. It actually increases the death tax from its current rate of zero percent all the way up to 35 percent. One economic study shows that this tax increase alone will kill over 800,000 jobs over the next ten years.

Finally, the bill now includes dozens of earmarks for special interests, including ethanol subsidies, tax breaks for film and television producers, give aways for Puerto Rican rum manufacturers, favors for auto racing track owners, and a hand out for businesses in American Samoa.

The President called Republicans “hostage takers” this week but he should be pointing his figure squarely at himself. We’ve known for years that these tax rates were going to expire but he did nothing about it until the last minute. Now Americans are being told they have to accept hundreds of billions in new spending and stimulus gimmicks, an increase the death tax, and a bunch of unnecessary earmarks or their taxes will go up.

I’m not going to be bullied into voting for things that will hurt our country because politicians in Washington ignored the problem until it was a crisis.

Many of you fought hard to elect new leaders to the Senate this year with the expectation that they would fight deficit spending, tax hikes, and backroom deals. I take that commitment very seriously and I’m prepared to vote against this bill even if I’m the only one in the Senate to do so.

I appreciate the efforts made by my party’s leaders to negotiate this deal but I believe Americans deserve much better. This deal should be rejected and then fixed. We can easily extend these tax rates without increasing spending once the new crop of Republican senators, including Pat Toomey, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, and Ron Johnson, are sworn in. The President has already conceded that taxes cannot go up and we’ll have more Republicans in Congress in a few weeks to fight for a better deal.

Thank you for supporting the principles of freedom and for your continued encouragement. I will continue to do my very best to be your voice in the United States Senate.

Today, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are calling the shots in a Union-Label White House and Congress.

So it’s easy to see why the past two years have been a dream come true for Big Labor.

Now, with the November 2 elections rapidly approaching, the union bosses are doing everything they can to hang on to their massive Congressional majorities.

And they’re hoping you WILL NOT read this letter.

You see, the union bosses don’t want you to know which candidates stand with them, and which ones stand with the nearly 80% of Americans that oppose forced unionism.

That’s why I recently sent each of your candidates for U.S. House and Senate a Right to Work Candidate Survey — and why your IMMEDIATE action is needed.

Today, I’m pleased to report to you that Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck and Republican Congressional candidate Scott Tipton have both answered their Candidate Surveys in 100% opposition to forced unionism.

But, I have bad news, too.

So far, Democrat incumbent U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and Democrat incumbent U.S. Congressman John Salazar have refused to pledge 100% opposition to forced unionism.

But John Salazar’s pro-forced-unionism position is no secret.

You see, as a Congressman, John Salazar voted FOR Big Labor’s cherished Card Check Forced Unionism Bill.

If passed, not only would this dangerous bill strip workers of their right to a secret ballot election when union organizers target their workplaces, but it would CRUSH our fragile economy, as well.

Not only that, but Congressman Salazar also voted for the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill — one of Big Labor’s most far-reaching power grabs.

If passed, this bill could force ALL police officers and firefighters nationwide under union boss control and would wreck state and local budgets.

Now, Big Labor has funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into both Michael Bennet’s and John Salazar’s campaigns.

It looks like Big Labor can’t wait for Michael Bennet and John Salazar to go back to Washington, D.C. to vote for more forced unionism.

That’s why you need to turn U.S. Senator Michael Bennet and Congressman John Salazar around — before it’s too late.

The fact is, AFL-CIO Boss Richard Trumka and his union boss cohorts have accumulated a one BILLION dollar forced-dues-funded political war chest to smash all Big Labor opposition.

And if they succeed, “Card Check” and the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill would be just the tip of the iceberg.

The union bosses’ forced-dues wish list also includes:

Passage of a bill that would force ALL state and local public employees across the country under Big Labor’s thumb;

Passage of the so-called “Striker Replacement” Bill, which would force employers to punish workers who decide to work during a strike and virtually guarantee even the most outrageous union boss demands must be met;

Repeal of Section 14(b) of the Taft-Hartley Act, wiping out ALL state Right to Work laws nationwide.

Can you imagine the damage even ONE of these bills could do to our economy?

Especially now? Especially considering the economic uncertainty, the lost jobs and the stock market rollercoaster we’ve seen over the past several months?

That’s why it’s crucial you contact ALL of your candidates for the U.S. House and Senate TODAY.

Here’s what you can do to help:

1)	Contact Democrat incumbent Senator Michael Bennet and Democrat incumbent Congressman John Salazar, and urge them to return their Candidate Surveys in 100% opposition to the union bosses’ forced-dues agenda.

Please, also, DEMAND that John Salazar apologize for his votes for “Card Check” and the Police and Firefighter Monopoly Bargaining Bill;

2)	Contact Republican Senate candidate Ken Buck and Republican House candidate Scott Tipton, and thank them for standing up to Big Labor and pledging 100% opposition to forced unionism.

With so much at stake this year, we’re really stretching our budget to put the heat on the candidates and keep opponents of forced unionism informed.

Obama Trying to Take Credit for FORD Success!

Just as we all thought that bunghole Obama is now wanting to take credit for the Ford Motor Company successes at keeping the company manufacturing, producing and selling Ford Cars, Trucks and other vehicles. The government had absolutely nothing to do with the Ford success!

This was all Ford. Thank God that Obama wasn’t around any of the Ford Plants. That would be similar to Obama showing up at democratic incumbent bases or other want-to-be democratic folks. Maybe you’ve noticed that when Obama shows up, that guy or gal looses. But then, that’s good for us Conservatives.

Obama is Lying

Anyhow, pay no attention to the credit Obama is trying to garner thru Ford. As with all other Obama situations, he’s simply lying about his accomplishments, of which there have been none.

How can you tell when Obama is lying…well his mouth is moving, of course. Obama is absolutely a puddle of puke! Eeeeek!

(This column is based on a chapter in our new book 2010: Take Back America — A Battle Plan.)

As Republicans contemplate their response to President Obama’s coming nomination to the Supreme Court, we should go beyond the traditional scrutiny over social issues and demand that any nominee elaborate his or her views about the constitutionality of the recent legislation passed by this Administration. The hearings on his nominee will be an ideal opportunity to convince the public of the unconstitutionality of his power grabs.

The Obamacare bill, for example, not only strips states of the right to determine who will get Medicaid coverage within their borders, but it forces the states to pick up part of the tab. This is a violation of the very concept of the Tenth Amendment which provides that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

The Medicaid mandate literally takes budgeting and taxing out of the hands of state governments and gives the power to the federal government. About one-third of the difference between the high tax levels in a state like New York (8.5% income tax) and Texas (no income tax) is the difference in their Medicaid eligibility standards. By forcing Texas to come up to New York’s standards — and to pay for part of it — the health care law socks the lawmakers in Austin with a $2.7 billion annual hole in their budget. Effectively, this unfunded mandate takes away from the states the right to determine their own level of taxation for state services.

Obama’s lawyers justify this outrageous usurpation by claiming that states do not have to participate in the Medicaid program and can opt out entirely. But, the courts have held that when such “voluntary” decisions are so draconian that they are really unrealistic, they amount to coercion. For example, states may not require drug tests for welfare recipients claiming that they do not have to apply for welfare. No state is going to throw all of their elderly nursing home patients out on the street by opting out of Medicaid.

Judge Andrew Napolitano, author of the excellent new book, Lies the Government Told You, warns of the unconstitutionality of the limitation on executive pay contained in the TARP program. He cites the doctrine “against unconstitutional conditions,” arguing that “The government may not condition the acceptance of a governmental benefit on the non-assertion of a constitutional liberty.” Because the freedom of contract is constitutionally protected, the government may not “condition corporate welfare on the prohibition of contracts with employees above an arbitrary salary amount.”

The very foundation of the health care bill — the individual mandate that people have to buy health insurance — is unconstitutional. Clearly, the government would have the authority to tax each person and use the money to provide insurance. But can it make everyone buy a privately provided product from a third party?

The Heritage Foundation thinks not, noting that “an individual mandate to enter into a contract with or buy a particular product from a private party, with tax penalties to enforce it, is unprecedented–not just in scope but in kind–and unconstitutional as a matter of first principles and under any reasonable reading of judicial precedents.”

The Foundation correctly points out that “nowhere in the Constitution is Congress given the power to mandate that an individual enter into a contract with a private party or purchase a good or service and… no decision or present doctrine of the Supreme Court justifies such a claim of power.”

The authors of the Obama Bill say that requiring people to buy health insurance is covered by the constitution’s interstate commerce clause, which allows Congress to regulate a “class of activity.”

But where is the interstate commerce? Congress has refused specifically and repeatedly to allow health insurance companies to compete across state lines. Republicans have been seeking this authority for years as a way to use private competition to hold down costs, but the Democrats have always refused.

And the Heritage Foundation asks a further question: What activity is being regulated? The activity of not buying health insurance? As the foundation notes, “proponents of the individual mandate are contending that, under its power to ‘regulate commerce’ . . . Congress may regulate the doing of nothing at all.” The absurdity of this is clear: “never in this nation’s history has the commerce power been used to require a person who does nothing to engage in economic activity. Therefore, no decision of the Supreme Court has ever upheld such a claim of power.”

Liberals who try to justify the individual mandate to buy health insurance often cite state government requirements that drivers must buy automobile insurance. But this comparison misses two key points: First, that requirement extends only to those who wish to drive, not to every citizen. And, second, states do indeed have broad police powers to act in the interest of the public’s health, safety, and welfare. But Washington doesn’t. Its powers are confined to those enumerated in the Constitution–and, try as they might, it’s hard to find any provision allowing the feds to impose such a requirement on all Americans.

The Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee need to ask Obama’s nominee to defend the constitutionality of his legislation and use the hearings as a forum to demonstrate how these bills violate not just the letter of the Constitution but the very spirit of federalism and individual freedom.
